    Description

    3 pcs True Vtg TALON Zinc Separating Zippers with double pulls from Meadville PA ~ longest is 40.5", 36" & 18.5" on black tape
    They have never been used but are somewhat compromised I think.  I don't know if they were cut down but they are missing the finished tape top.  A stop has been added so that the pulls do not come of the zipper track when closing.
    Over 50 years ago when my husband and I was first married, he worked at our local Talon Plant 5 facility in Meadville, Pa as a chain machine operator.  He held that position for almost 15 years before they moved chain machine down South to NC to save money on wages because they didn't have labor unions down there at that time.  This move turned out to be the demise of Talon as everything went downhill from there.
    If he were still alive today, he could tell you the process of making this zipper and exactly the style size this is   I alas, don't have his knowledge to share with you.  I wish I did.
